I went to Portugal with Lux Group Ventures as a solo traveler, and the trip was wonderful! I was thoroughly impressed with the planning and organization, and it exceeded my expectations. Troy did a great job making sure everyone was comfortable and had what they needed. The morning tennis was great, and they did a good job of sorting us into groups according to skill level. In the afternoons and evenings, the activities and meals were high-end and worth our time. I would highly recommend a trip with this group, and I look forward to joining another one in the future.

I had a really enjoyable time on the Lux Group Ventures tennis retreat in the Algarve. I traveled solo and felt very safe and comfortable the entire time. It was easy to meet people, and we ended up with a really great group. The morning tennis clinics were well organized, competitive, and a lot of fun. Troy is a very good tennis teacher—he knows the game well, had lots of great tips, and gave helpful advice that I could actually use on the court. He also did a great job accommodating everyone and trying to make the tennis, activities, and excursions work for the whole group. The resort had everything we needed, and there was a nice balance between tennis, activities, and time together. My favorite part was probably the group dinners, and the wine tour was a blast. Overall, it was a really fun, well-organized trip and definitely worth the time and money. I would especially recommend it to someone considering traveling solo—just show up ready to play tennis, meet new people, and have a good time.

Great location, tennis, instruction and experiences. We loved it all. Met a great group of tennis people in attendance as well. Will definitely do another trip! Troy goes out of his way to accommodate.
