This retreat is ideal for solo travelers, couples, friends, and tennis players of all levels. Non-playing guests are also welcome to enjoy the balanced array of experiences.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be an advanced player?
No. Players are grouped by ability, from recreational through advanced.

Can I attend without playing tennis?
Yes. Non-players are welcome to enjoy the sightseeing, dining, beaches, Rio Open, and group activities. We could also arrange alternative activities upon request. There is also a padel facility right next to the main tennis club we will use.

How much tennis is included?
We have reserved 19 hours of coached and free-play tennis time across the 5 full days of the trip. If you would like to play on arrival day or departure day, you can request additional time.

Who typically attends?
Our retreats attract active adults who enjoy tennis, travel, excellent food, memorable experiences, and meeting new people. People arrive solo, with a friend, or with a spouse and make friends quickly.

What airport should I fly into?

Guests may fly into either Galeao International Airport (GIG) or Santos Dumont Airport (SDU). Included transfers are provided from either airport.

Do I need a visa to enter Brazil?

Yes. U.S. citizens need an electronic visa, which can be completed online. After you place your deposit, we will send instructions and the official application link. Other nationalities should check their specific requirements.

How physically demanding is the trip?

The trip includes morning tennis, sightseeing, walking, and time outdoors. It is an active trip, but guests may participate at their own pace and skip any activities when they prefer to relax.

Will there be free time?

Yes. The itinerary will include time for the beach, pool, shopping, independent exploration, or any other activity of your choice. and you can skip any activity with advance notice for more free time.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

A fully refundable deposit reserves your early access spot.

Deposits placed before October 15, 2026 receive $200 off the final trip price. Guests may review the complete itinerary, pricing, and payment schedule before deciding whether to continue.

Emergency travel medical insurance is required. Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

Upscale Lodging

Stay at the ocean-front Laghetto Stilo Hotel in Barra Tijuca. Enjoy ocean view units, whether you stay alone, with a friend or with a spouse.

Daily Tennis Sessions

Enjoy up to 4 hours of tennis each day on red clay courts at two renowned clubs, with at least 2 hours of daily coaching and courts grouped by level for competitive, well-matched play for any level.

Tournament Tickets

View the matches at the ATP 500 Rio Open with stunning mountain views. Watch the action up-close in hard-to-get baseline tickets with the group.

Christ the Redeemer

Explore Rio's most famous landmark by arriving from a historic train ride through the Tijuca National Forest.

Sugarloaf Mountain

Take in a spectacular sunset from one of the most iconic mountains in the world with fast-track tickets.

Beach Day in Barra

Spend a day relaxing and enjoying the classic Rio beach lifestyle. Choose to play beach volleyball, frescoball, beach tennis, or take a surf lesson.

Coastal Walking Tour

Explore the famous neighborhoods of Leblon, Ipanema and Copacabana and taste tradtional Acai. Walk the lush streets and experience the best urban beach scenery there is.

Breakfast and Lunch

Enjoy healthy options to power your day at the hotel and local restaurants. Taste traditional dishes and high end cuisine around the city.

Transportation

Private transfers and vans will be used for all scheduled activities and for airport transportation.

Dinners

A la carte ordering or family style meals will be used to allow for flexibility and enhanced choice at restaurants. We will eat at some of the most scenic and delicious restaurants Rio has to offer.

Travel Insurance

All travelers must purchase their own travel insurance covering emergency medical treatment. We also reccomend getting comprehensive coverage beyond just the required medical coverage.

Brazil Visa

Please make sure to acquire the 10 year tourist visa to visit the country. We will send you the link to fill out the simple application after you book.
